About Clayboard Entertainment

Clayboard Entertainment

Clayboard Records was originally founded in 1982 by Jerome Clay and his brother Kenneth Clay aka “Fast Ken” to provide a platform for regional musicians to express themselves. Because of his musical background, Jerome aka Jerry recognized an opportunity to offer musicians a special, welcoming environment where they could not only record their music but also have a say in how it was promoted and delivered.

The label released a series of 45 rpm in the early 80’s which have become collector’s item over time. Since then, a variety of artists' albums have been issued through the label, and each of them has benefited from Clayboard Records commitment to excellence and creative liberty.

In 2000 launched Clayboard Entertainment and expanded the company’s scope to include video production and artists management.
