Jerome Clay

  • Can you tell me more about Clayboard Entertainment?

Clayboard Entertainment was founded by Jerome Clay in June of 2000 as outlet for local Bay Area artists to express themselves in the recording industry. Clay had a background in music and saw an opportunity to provide Artists with a unique, artist-friendly environment where they could not only record their music but also have a say in how it was distributed and marketed. Clayboard's first release was the compilation album "The San Francisco Sound," which featured local bands including Clay's own group, Jerry & The Champions. The company has since released albums by a variety of artists, all of whom have benefited from Clayboard's dedication to quality and artist autonomy. In an industry that is often driven by corporate interests, Clayboard Entertainment remains committed to giving independent artists a voice.
